Matthew is an Atlanta-based civil litigation attorney with over two decades of experience. While serving as an Assistant Attorney General in Georgia, Matthew specialized in Section 1983 civil rights cases and served as lead counsel in several trials. Later, in his career in private practice, Matthew continued to focus on civil rights matters and issues of employment law, handling complex transactional negotiations. His extensive professional experience, coupled with his football background and time as a youth and high school football coach in metro Atlanta, helps make Matthew a strong advocate for his clients.

Matthew played college football at Ithaca College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in politics in 1995.  He received his Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 1999.

Sons Caleb and Noah are current linebackers at Florida State University.
